About Us
Who are we?
We are a church who love God, believe in Jesus and care about people and we are excited about serving our local community. Generosity, fun, friendship and family are things we love! Currently we are meeting at Blackfen Community Library. We aim to offer a fun, welcoming and dynamic place to call home for people of all ages and walks of life. You are very welcome to join us for our Sunday Morning Gathering. We are part of the Pioneer Network of Churches. Paul Weston is the Church Leader alongside an Oversight Team.
What do we do?
We are committed to serving the community of which we are part, and for many years have run clubs and events for preschool and primary aged children and their families in the area. We host a free summer community festival called Lark in the Park at Sidcup Place which started in 1996, and is attended by over 3000 guests every summer. In September 2013, we opened Hope Community School in Foots Cray, Bexley’s first Free School. In 2016 we also took on the management of Blackfen Community Library and now run the library with Rooted Coffee House.
