Blackfen Community Library

In 2015 Bexley Council invited community organisations to come forward to apply to run Blackfen Library. New Generation Church were part of this process, and we were appointed as the organisation chosen to run the Library from April 2016. The library is a busy and lively community hub and we want to build on its success, continuing to provide a great library service and creative space for the community of Blackfen.

In April 2016 it reopened under the new name ‘Blackfen Community Library’ having undergone a major refurbishment, the introduction of a new cafe, a busy programme of groups for different ages and an exciting new kids area.

The library is a great space for all ages and for all the community. Come and visit us, we’d love to see you.
